Srinivasan Seshan Asha B. Seshan

I was born in India, but I grew up in the U.S.  I went to South Lakes High School and  Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.  I have a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley, California.

I received my MS and Ph.D. from the CS Division of the University of California at Berkeley, California.  After graduating in December 1995, I joined the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University.

I was born in Bombay, India and grew up all over the world.  I lived in India, Indonesia and Hong Kong prior to coming to the U.S. in 1991.

My primary and secondary education was at Villa Theresa High School,  Jakarta International School and Hong Kong International School.  I have an undergraduate degree in Economics and Anthropology from Harvard University and a graduate degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago.

Most recently, I worked for Cogit Corporation where I was a Manager as well as the Privacy Officer for the company.  Prior to that, I worked as a Consultant in Ernst & Young's Strategic Advisory Services Practice.
